If there is one thing Laura López Puig is passionate about, it is companies. She is in and out of them as a specialist in project implementation, coaching, trainer and consultant and her project EL GOT MIG PLE brings together optimistic women entrepreneurs who want to share as much as she does. She likes to question the whys and wherefores of things and that makes her the perfect guest to talk about her passion in this Nal3Talks where we have focused on retail.
The main enemy of the “traditional” store is the store itself.
When Laura speaks of “traditional” trade, she puts it in quotation marks. For Laura, this adjective does not refer to neighborhood or proximity commerce… but to that which does not want to change despite the fact that its environment and customers do. In this sense, e-commerce has overtaken physical commerce in many aspects, even achieving something that conventional commerce must relearn: to know its regular customers and manage this information to personalize the experience.
There was also time to talk about the pandemic, a turning point for many businesses that had to adapt quickly to the circumstances. In the case of consumers, we realized that we missed the stores at street level, not only as suppliers of products, but also as meeting points for people. Here Laura is categorical: “Traditional” stores, in addition to adapting, must value their social function.
We know that when we talk about progress, neologisms appear like hot cakes. That’s why we wanted to ask Laura about dropshipping and what she thought of it. This led us to talk about consumption, sustainability and habits that, especially in Spain, we should change… Do you want to find out? We leave it in the hands of Laura and our very interesting talk with her.
